I'm at school and I go into the cafeteria to get a glass of water. When I walk past this one table, this girl thinks I work there and she asks me to take her food back because she has some medical condition where she has to be served her sandwiches upside down, but it is right side up. I tell her I don't work there but I'll tell one of the waiters to get it, and I do when I'm walking out. I meet up with Rose and we go on a walk with some other students and a teacher. We're on this path and we meet this little pug dog. I kneel down to pet him. There are 3 or 4 books on the grass next to the path, one of which is a dictionary. The dog touches that book and he runs into this fireplace [that appeared out of nowhere] and turns into an evil spirit. Rose and I run to her house. We know we have to do something to guard against the dog but we don't want our grandmother to find out so we're trying to be quiet about it. Rose and I are running around the house doing stuff when some people knock at the door, neighbors of hers that she doesn't like - one or two women and a few children (all girls). They all have really long black hair (might have been wigs) and are wearing black capes and white face makeup. We have to let them in so they come and sit around in the living room. I'm with Rose in a cafe that is part of some store, and we meet up with Dana and Maria. They say they want her to go out that night with them, but don't say anything much to me. Later on the phone Rose tells me I should go out with them, but I say no because I have to go through my closet and organize all of these new clothes. I'm with three other people (two guys and a girl) in this weird, empty room in some building. We are all trying to kill each other and we each have a big knife. We stand at opposite sides of the room (two of us on each side) and throw the knives across, trying to stab each other. Nobody gets hit and I am the only one for some reason to go and grab my knife. The girl and one of the guys are fighting, and she pushes him away. I get close to her and make this little poke in her eye with the knife, and there are a few drops of her blood in it. I go up to the guy she was fighting with and say "I hope you don't catch anything from that bitch" and stab him a couple of times in the shoulder, while the other guy (the cute one who was standing next to me) laughs. The cute guy grabs me and we start fighting and rolling on the ground. I stab him a few times (I can't make the knife go very deep) into his chest and shoulder. I am scared he is going to overpower me and kill me. We get to standing up again and I am trying to fight him just a little bit longer because there is this car coming really fast to the room and I know it's one of the guys grandparents, and that they're going to crash into the building - and I think that when they do, I can run away in the confusion.

I'm online and have an instant message program so I send Maria a message because it says she's online. She says "Hi" and a few other things, and then she types some weird words (one of them was either "incision" or "invention") and I know that it's not her. I get offline right away and call her on the phone. She is busy and has to go but I interrupt and tell her what happened. She is confused at first but then she is angry and says "I know who it is" and gets off the phone. I'm next door and my neighbors house talking to one of them and then when I leave and walk outside, their house is very high and instead of stairs it's a weird, rocky little dirt hill. I get down and talk to a couple of girls who are hanging out there: one of them is blond and the other one is from India. We're talking for a few minutes about how the sun is setting and then all of a sudden there are lots and lots (four or five dozen) people on the street because they just got off of work. I see my mom and I ask her what businesses are near our house. Everyone leaves all of a sudden and I get swept up in the crowd. Afterwards I notice I don't have my wallet anymore so I start going around to look. I look at our phone list so I can call the bank to tell them but it's too late (after seven?) and the number is wrong so I think someone is going to steal all my money. I go over to Dana's house (who somehow lives behind my house) and she and Mark are there. They are hugging because they're dating. Dana puts on a movie and we start talking about Bo. She takes care of him as much as I do and we both feed him and I say "No wonder he's getting chubby." I leave there and I'm in some doctor/dentist office in Oakland. I have this weird machine/shopping cart I'm pushing around. I'm at my grandma's house and we're going to put a movie on in about half an hour, so I want to go down to the garage and work out.

I go into my backyard and I see that there is a tree on the side of the shed, and it's on fire. I go inside and tell my dad but he doesn't believe me, so we go back to see. The fire has spread to the roof of the shed and we go into the house. He tells me to call 911 and I am nervous because I'm afraid I'll mess up, but I call. First the woman who answers keeps messing up my number but she finally gets it right. While waiting for the fire department to come, I try to bring my dog into the house but he won't come in, and he's too heavy for me too carry.

I'm in Save Mart with Dana, Rose and I think Lucy. We're going to buy our lunch there. I decide to get a Lunchable and one of those Oreo cookie bars. When I find the cookie bars, I look through them for a few minutes because one of them was opened and got crumbs and cookie pieces on the others. I also get a small bottle of water. We're standing in this long line and it is taking forever. I am behind Rose, and behind me is this redheaded woman. She's getting mad that it's taking so long so she keeps pushing her cart into me. Whenever I turn around and look at her, she acts innocent, but she gets really mad and scary when I whisper something about her to Rose. There is another line that opens up and has nobody in it, so she takes the stuff from her cart and goes over. I am glad, but someone gets there first so she comes back. One of the reasons the line is taking so long is the guy is making daiquiris for people, whatever kind they want. Dana is up there and all of a sudden she starts feeling really sick and she grabs a handful of sugar from a bag nearby because she knows how to cure sickness with it (???) She runs off and I get up to the front and tell the guy I want a cherry daiquiri. I'm in this doctors office hanging out with this girl my age, and we are kind of watching this little boy and his younger sister. The brother is all happy and loud but the little girl is quiet and sad. One of them asks me if I ever donate money to the doctors office and I say that I do. I go off with the girl my age to the cafeteria, which turns out to be the one at my high school. It's lunchtime and so full of people you can hardly move. There are some old ladies sitting at this table and one of them asks me to go get a smoothie for her. I say I will and ask her what kind she wants. I don't really know what kinds they have so she goes to get it herself. Rose is there and she's all distracted because she has a form (a receipt for her financial aid I think) that she has to give to this guy. He comes in and walks back and forth in about this 20-foot section of the cafeteria, and when he doesn't see her right away, he leaves. We're in line and finally get up to the cashier, who is trying to use this phone. Every time she presses a button, oil comes out of the phone, and I say I hate when that happens. Mom and Dad are driving to school, and my dad thinks I'm supposed to go to the adult center, but I correct him. We're out of the car and just walking when we see an ambulance off in the distance so we stand on the sidewalk, but it doesn't go in our direction. There is a bumbleebee chasing us around.

Maria calls me on the phone, and we haven't seen each other in almost year. She is due to have a baby soon and she asks if I will go to the hospital with her when she gives birth. I say "Okay" and I spend what seems like hours trying to figure out the right outfit. I'm going to get a ride with her parents to the hospital and I am getting a ride from my grandparents, but then I see my dad in the Plymouth so I get his attention and he pulls off to the side of the road so he can drive me to Maria's house. Then Maria and I are having a sleepover at my house [she's not pregnant in this part of the dream] and we're sleeping out in the living room. It's really late at night but it's light enough outside to see people across the street because the front door is open. The TV is on too. We are both nearly asleep but there is something really important I have to tell Maria so I sit up and start talking. She is angry at first for some reason but then she sees my face and there is something wrong with it (??) so she runs off. I get up, close the door, turn off the TV, and get settled on the couch. I'm at her and her husbands (?) house and it's about 8 or 9 PM, and I ask her husband to give me a ride because I don't want to walk home when it's dark. Then I remember I have to do their dishes and I should do that before I leave instead of going home and then coming back again. I'm at Pitt and there are a bunch of people I graduated with, because we're planning some reunion and buying tickets. Mark is there with some other guy, and I'm having an Altoid, so I give them some too.

I'm on a train with a lot of famous people. The train has stopped and the conductor tells us over the PA system that we should all introduce ourselves to each other. I meet Denzel Washington and he says "Hi, I'm Denzel" and I say "I know" and start giggling like an idiot. There is this older woman who is really fascinated by either my arm or my skin in general.

I'm at my grandma's house and in the backyard with a few of my cousins. There is a smaller version of the kind of swimming pool we have, that you can put up and take down. It's really easy so I put it up myself on the back lawn. We're in the house and my dad comes by with this backpack he found on the street. I know there is going to be something gross in it so I cover my eyes. From what I gather by what everyone else is saying, there is a dead animal in there, either a cat or ? something else. I'm at home and cooking some steak. I'm trying to make this marinade with orange juice but I get annoyed and pour it down the drain. Then I'm putting a bunch of spices on the meat (garlic, ginger, more stuff) but I'm just making a mess so my mom comes along to help me.

I'm at this party at Dana's house and there are a bunch of random people there taking random pills. I know I have to be careful so I don't take anything and am careful but I think someone slips me something because all of a sudden hours have passed and it is really late (12:48) but I can't remember much. So I look around for a phone to call my mom, and I go into this small room that is Dana's mom's bedroom, and she's there sleeping so I turn around leave. I go back out and my mom has just arrived, and she's in the kitchen. There are still a bunch of people in the living room dancing and jumping (they are going practically up to the ceiling) around. Maria is upset at this one guy because he'd slipped her something so I yell at him and so she comes home with me and my mom. I was supposed to have lab at school but I decide not to go. It is early in the morning (6 or 7 maybe) and we all decide to get into the hot tub. There is this weird Mighty Mouse toy we have for the hot tub and my mom says we always call it "Mickey Mouse" when we're in there. I'm at Accents getting a haircut and when I leave, I realize I didn't have her give me a really cool haircut like I wanted. I'm with my mom and we're just leaving my grandma's house. She isn't in the car yet and I am in the passenger seat, and for some reason the car starts moving. I have to control the steering wheel and finally I press the brake so it stops. But when I press it I also end up in this different car, way behind our car which is on the road and seems to be driving okay by itself.

I'm at Pitt and there has been a flood, so we're all in this huge room. The water is in there too, though, so we all have to stand on desks until it's time to climb out. A bunch of people I went to junior high and elementary school with are there too. I am on a desk right next to Gwen so we're talking. Mark comes over and we hug and he is wearing this really weird jacket and something (?) is written on it in marker. I'm taking part in this weird race/obstacle course and I have my daughter (??) with me. There is swimming, running, and other stuff you have to do. I am ahead of everyone else at one point because I distract this one girl by telling her something, but this one woman ends up winning. There is this big awards ceremony at the end and she (the winner) is annoyed by it. I belong to this coven of witches. Besides me there are these two really bad ones (they are short and cartoonish for some reason), this cute guy, and this annoying girl. I am talking to the cute guy and the girl, and he tells us this one spell where we say the first syllable of his last name (?) a certain number of times. When we do it, we feel like our heads have been dipped back into water, and I have to struggle to take it back out. He has this weird little toy that holds candies and small toys, and if you know the passwords, it tells you how to do different spells. I am with the two mean witches and it's at night. We're at some farm and in the garden, messing things up for the farmer and he comes out and chases us. The other two have this weird, even more evil body doubles, so when we leave they laugh about how the doubles will still annoy the farmer. They'd had a bunch of these weird flowers that they put in a garbage bag and put in an alley, and when they find this one man had searched for and found the flowers, they were angry.

I'm in San Francisco and in a dorm for one of the colleges, hanging out with the girl who lives there and some dude. The girl has a friend who lives in a dorm right across the way, and they talk to each other from their windows. The friend finds out the girl is going to the Virgin Megastore later so she throws a few cassettes at her to ?sell them? I'm in this tryout for some dancing group but the people in it don't like me so while they're in the auditorium trying out other people, I'm in the back dancing for this one really hot guy who's in his late 30's/early 40's. I'm wearing this kind of short skirt and I'm dancing around and I flip my skirt up and show him my underwear. I'm supposed to go on vacation with my family but I procrastinate and we have to leave before I realize I haven't packed. I'm at Pitt, and in my dream it is 9/11 but before the bad stuff happens, and I'm the only one who knows about it before it does. I'm walking through the campus and looking at the hallways, and each hallway in the main campus is for a different class - like one hall for freshman, for sophomores, etc etc. I go look at the hall for seniors (the grade I was in the dream) but I don't want to go down there for some reason. Everything looks kind of blue and washed out. I see my mom going through the school with the principal, talking to him about something. I'm out by the stadium and the bad stuff happens in New York, and for some reason a bunch of weird stuff is happening there too. There is all of this weird blurry, confetti stuff and shadows in the air and it is hard to see. Also a really strong wind is blowing. People are panicking and running all over the place, trying to get out. There is a little girl and her siblings who are rushing to find their dad, who is the football coach, and he is up in the weird box. Their last name is Barnes. I leave the place by climbing this weird ladder that goes through this big patch of plants and things. There are a bunch of small, red/purple flowers and they have a lot of thorns. There are some huge black birds flying around. The principal is out there in the area, and he is mad at me because he thought he would escape the way I'm going and end up this huge hero, but he has to leave with his kids. I'm in this play at school, and the set is this wall with big windows in it that I'll have to climb through when that scene ends. I'm impatient because I have no more lines and I have to just stand there and wait. A lot of the set and costumes are purple.

My family has moved into this new house and I'm trying to get my room together. The house seems dark but not really scary. There is this ghost in my room/closet but she is nice so I'm not really bothered by it. She gets upset about something though and runs off, but I keep putting my clothes away. The light keeps going off and my stereo isn't behaving (going off, changing stations/cd's by itself, lots of static). I'm hanging out with Mark at Pitt and we're walking in this hallway when all of these fireworks go off. This guy was setting them and whoever stuck around got free tickets to ? Someone in charge is about to come along so Mark and I run and hide over on c-side, which is pretty much empty and deserted. In one room on the second floor, there is a therapist/counselor that Mark sees sometimes, so we go to her office. Mark goes off into the bathroom so I talk to her for a few minutes. When he comes out we are going to leave, and this jerky guy who comes in. I don't like him because he was really mean to his roommate or something so we get into an argument, and I make fun of him because he's pretty short. Mark and I go to this snack bar and I get a couple of sodas, a hot dog, and look for a snack my sister would like but don't find one. I have it put on my ATM card because I don't have enough cash but I'm worried that there's not enough in my bank account either, because I had to have a charge put on by the counselor. I'm with my mom and a few other people at my grandma's house and we go outside with this man. I'm only wearing socks and I step on a rock and it hurts. He has this big white bucket of dirty water, but he has this weird chemical stuff that cleans it so we can drink it. He tells us about this one chemical that is in most water everywhere, and it's not really bad, but the water tastes better without it and his chemicals can remove it. The chemical name sounds something like rhododendron but that wasn't it.

My dad and I are driving home from some place and we get to our street, and there is a bunch of confusing stuff going on. Something bad has happened and there are a bunch of soldiers around, and there is a lot of smoke. We have to get in a line and show this army guy (a general?) our ID's and everything. Dad tells me to hide my money because they might want to take it if they see it. We have to go with everyone else there to this other place to stay. I'm behind this really annoying woman and her older husband. She and I get into this fight, pushing and shoving each other. I call her a cunt and my dad comes along so she tells him. He really doesn't care, and we're tired of being in that place so we hop into this carriage-looking car and drive away. The woman was sitting in the middle of the street so we run over her but I don't know if she gets hurt or not. I'm in drama class and the bad thing which happened previously is still going on so everyone has to stay together. We are going on a field trip to some play I don't like, so I decide to just leave altogether. I'm walking out and this girl runs up to me and asks if I've seen ?some guy?. When I say I haven't, she says she thought she heard him talking about me bcause he had a crush on me. We go off to this computer lab and he is there with some other guy, who is helping him write a love letter. The guy is saying "I love her, I love her" over and over, but I don't think he's talking about me.

I'm at school walking around and there is a bunch of weird stuff going on. There are a bunch of guys doing bad things to girls and there are a bunch of police officers around talking and arresting them. One guy passes by me and says he just wants to do something to get in trouble. I see these two guys who are making this girl throw up over and over again so I get upset and run away.

I'm at home and someone has done something weird to the computers and stereos so all of the graphics/letters are showing up wrong (all tilted) and they keep flashing red. Rose and I are hanging out, and first we go to the mall. We get separated but then meet up again at this little area in the food court that serves pizza. Some girl she graduated with is working there so they talk. I only get one piece (pepperoni) but then I want another, and also a piece of garlic bread but they used all of the bread to make sandwiches. I keep singing that "Jenny from the block" song. Rose and I go outside and sit down on this bench. John comes up because he is looking for Mark and keeps bugging us. He has this weird liquid, maybe a soda, that he sprays on us and we yell at him. Then Rose and I are in this apartment building hanging out with some band. Mark is there, and I think Maria. The lead singer of the band is telling us about some really cool mix CD she made that she wants to give everyone a copy of. She has made this really cool smoothie out of what looks like this lotion stuff. I try to make another batch how she did it but can't figure out exactly how to do it. I remember spraying some orange flavor into it, and serving it in this big bowl that has a doll floating in it. I get rid of that batch (pour it down the bathroom sink) and set to make another. One of the lotions is this dark blue/purple color. Someone mentions using strawberry grenadine and I say "Oh, that's a great idea!" and send someone to get it for me. There's also a bunch of different liquor bottles around so I think about mixing some of that in. I'm at school and go to the bookstore to get my cap and gown for graduation. Even though it's the day before they're supposed to be on sale, a bunch of people are there for them. All around the store are old yearbooks. You're supposed to look through books and figure out which "style" you like best, and then the bookstore will get one for you that is as close and possible. A bunch of the caps and gowns are all over the store in blue boxes.

We're going to have a party in the backyard (it's summer) and my mom and I are getting things ready. She wants me to paint (spraypaint?) all of our green chairs blue, so I do. Then because the pool is blue and the sky is blue, everything in the yard is kind of glowing blue and she decides she wants the chairs red instead, so I make them that color. I'm with this guy and maybe some other girl, and we're looking at these posters we've taken down from ? and on the back of one of them, someone drew a big picture of a penis.

I'm at home and we're getting ready to have a big party. It's late evening and there's plenty of people but not too many. This girl who is supposed to be in my drama class shows up and she's wearing this big, fancy dress and a lot of makeup. I talk to her for a few minutes and then Rose arrives so we decide to get into the pool. We're swimming and the girl gets in and asks why I didn't ask her to. I say it was because she was dressed all nice and had her makeup done.
