I go to the store to buy some groceries for my mom. When I get home we get into an argument over how much things cost. I tell her that buying avocados shouldn't cost $80, and that a toothbrush shouldn't cost $11,000. I tell her one of us will have to go back to the store and get it corrected before the charge goes through. I'm at work and someone tells me that everyone has been promoted and moved up two spaces. I ask her who left, and she says one of them was "Some old middle-aged lady." My family is at this weird bookstore where there are some people doing an act like stripper. They're all just regular people, not really attractive or anything. It seems like the show is going on forever and it's annoying. Between each "act" we have to be shut in this weird room. Finally it ends, and while we're walking around the bookstore one of the strippers tells us they're going to have some meeting, and we can go to it if we want. I'm walking around where the strippers were and there's some semen on the carpet. I'm at this kind of reunion for Pitt, and I see Mr. Spelling. He gives me like a half-hug. There's a bartender and I want a drink, but I have no money on me so I have to go to this weird ATM that just gives you a receipt so the person can get the cash later. I can't get it to work. I'm at home and Mr. Spelling comes over. He lies down on my bed but when I lie next to him he sits up and starts to read through all of this stuff I have in a binder. After he leaves my dad comes into my room and is angry because I had a man in there. I'm at this school trying to find a bathroom and all of them seem to be dirty or not working. I find this one in a weird back room. The bathroom has a kind of lobby and then this big closet where the toilets are. In the 'closet' there are three toilets, three garbage cans, and three light bulbs. In the garbage cans are both trash and laundry, and I try to get them evened out but soon give up. I'm in my room, standing next to my dresser, and some water starts to drip from the ceiling onto my bed.

I'm at Mervyn's and trying to find the Juniors section, but I can't no matter how many times I go around the entire store. I spot Amanda and some dark-haired guy who I guess is her boyfriend, walking through this doorway and up into a stairwell. I get really excited and run after them and ask if they know where the Juniors section is. They don't and they're going to the parking garage so I stop following them. I'm in the stairwell alone and I suddenly get really nervous, thinking I have to get out of there before anyone bad shows up. I'm at home washing my hair, but I'm doing it in my bathroom sink. It takes forever to get all of the shampoo out but I finally do. I'm cleaning up and I see this weird, gross stuff in the sink and into the drain (the hole is really big). I'm annoyed that I'll have to clean the sink again after just doing it yesterday.

Dana and Maria come over to visit me. They have this bright blue car that belongs to the coach of a basketball team. When they're leaving, I go outside with them. Dana is driving and Maria gets into the backseat. I tell them I can't go anywhere with them because it's 3:44 and I have to be there at 4 when my sister comes home. I borrow their car keys to open my mailbox with. There's a lot of stuff in there for me, including a business card from Kaiser for someone named Ann Davis. There's also what looks like a personal letter, and the envelope is really thick. The handwriting looks vaguely like Dana's but I don't check to see if it is or not. I'm looking around for Dana and Maria to give them back the keys, and I can't find them even though I go around the whole neighborhood. I go back to the mailboxes and use this public phone to call Dana's cell. The operator says she's not there, and asks if I want to leave a message on her voicemail. I say yes and the operator says I have to close my eyes so I don't see the password for it. Finally I find Dana and Maria, though, along with a bunch of guys from the basketball team, who are annoyed that I still have the keys because they can't start the game without them.

Mark and Dana are visiting me. We're sitting in my room and Mark asks if I can make him some soap (for his feet?) that smells like orange and lime. I'm trying to figure out what to do, because I have some lime lotion and some orange soap but I'm not sure how to combine them. I've just gotten out of the shower and I go into my room. My window is open and I see Dana and Maria, who has just arrived, standing outside. I wave and say I'll be out there as soon as I get dressed. I'm in the kitchen and my mom beckons me to follow her. My sister sees also but my mom makes me close the laundry room door and then the outside door behind me. There's this panel on the outside of the house that comes off, and my mom shows me a present for my sister she has hidden there - a yellow legal pad. It looks as if some pages have been ripped out of it already. It's my last day of work and I've just made this display of candy and toys in these boxes. My boss says I should take them down to the basement/break room so everyone can see them and leave their comments. I wonder what's the point when I'm leaving. These two guys come up to the counter, and they have some certificates stating how many units they have. I ask them if they've already given us applications and they say yes. I'm in the back room of a ?bookstore? and I hear some man in the front talking to the owner. The man is saying he heard that whenever his daughter goes to that bookstore, she goes down on whatever guy is giving her a ride there. The man thinks she's doing it because of some book that's at the store. I'm trying to listen by hiding behind this weird shelf but move over to my locker because it won't look as obvious. There are two other guys who work there in the locker room, getting ready to leave even though they didn't finish all of their work that day. We're all out in this yard, and there's this one section of the ground that is really dirty (even considering the ground is just dirt) so I use a waterhose to clean it up. The guys from the locker room see and thank me, because now they don't have to do it. My mom shows up and she's ready to be mad because she thinks no one will have cleaned it up. I show her that I've done it, but she's acting really strange and I'm wondering if she's on something.
