I'm on Buchanan, waiting to turn onto Somersville and there are so many cars coming that I can't merge. I sit there for awhile. I think that a big blue-gray SUV (an Expedition?) is going to let me in, but it doesn't. I flip off the guy and he makes a motion at me to look in my rearview mirror. I do and I see a police car flashing its lights behind me, so I pull over to the right. Two cops come up, one at my window, one at the passenger side. Their uniforms are dark brown and they're wearing hats. The one on my side is an older guy. They each have nametags on their chests. They are uncle and nephew, and their last name is "Lunch." The older one asks for my purse so I give it to him, and he takes $60 in three twenties from my wallet. He gives one of the bills to his nephew and they leave. I'm complaining about this to my parents later, and my mom says that's why she and my dad always carry cash. I'm with Dana at this house where Billy Corgan is filming a music video. His agent tells us to leave but we don't. We go into the bedroom where they're filming and I take a stack of dirty plates that are on the dresser to the kitchen sink. Billy comes in and says he needs about thirty plates of pancakes for a breakfast. I don't think this is unreasonable and start making his first, but there are no pancakes or mix, so instead I'm putting canned, halved peaches on the plates. I decorate using these neat different colored ice creams, whipped toppings and sprinkles. There are also some plastic and fabric decorations I use. There's no maple syrup, so instead I drizzle melted vanilla ice cream over the peaches. I feel bad about making such a mess but think I'll probably end up doing the dishes, anyway. When Billy's plate is done, I start working on breakfast for the agent. It's more peaches and ice cream stuff, but his is in a (Christmas?) tin. I use gummi bears and tie a lacy ribbon around it, but there's something I need to get from the store to complete it. The agent jokes that I better bring him something good and I say, "You'll eat whatever I bring you." On my walk to the corner store, the tin turns into a mug. These three bully-type girls follow me, talking about something that had happened near my elementary school. we pass by it and they point to places where they say "the needles were". There's a big filled-in spot and I know someone has just been buried there. There's crime scene tape around, too. At the store, which is just a little stand, there are a bunch of high school students around and I'm one too. I ask for "the special", which today is an emptied gatorade bottle filled back up with brandy. I take two of them. I'm hanging out with these three guys, one of which I'm flirting with and keep holding his hand. He tells me to drink the brandy more slowly. There's a heavy rainstorm and everyone is just standing there and singing and dancing. This woman trying to find her kid at the gathering is yelling at everyone for drinking. I lie on the ground and try to hide my face, and she keeps trying to pull me up, so I keep hitting her while looking away.

I'm shopping in Macy's. There are two different girls there who owe me money, and one of them pays me back by paying for the stuff I get. The other girl keeps making excuses and finally says she'll have her boyfriend give me the money, but he won't be available for awhile because he's having a meeting with his agent (he's a professional dancer). It's 2:00 and I ask her if I come back at 2:30 or 3:00, will he be there, and she finally says that he's supposed to have a dance lesson but he'll be there. I go to another store and I'm looking at some dolls for my sister. They're very small and in boxed sets. They're pretty cute, but I'm looking at the boxes and some of them have racist words to describe the dolls. I think to myself "How inappropriate for a kid!" and leave without buying anything. I cross the street to go to the Virgin Megastore, and on the way in I trip on the curb and into this puddle. There are these three guys in the front who I think will laugh or say something to me but they don't. I go inside and there's no merchandise anywhere, just a lot of empty shelves and cardboard boxes. A clerk comes up to me and says that they're closed for the season, so I leave.
