Our house has a basement and I need something from it so I go down there. It is really huge and looks kind of like the hallways of a school. The air hockey table is down there. I think I see someone out of the corner of my eye so I run back upstairs. It had been raining hard but all of the rain got trapped on our roof somehow. Finally all the water crashes down and we have to rush to close all the doors and windows. Water still leaks in many places, especially the basement. I had ordered two purses online, but they ran out so they send me one purse and one pair of ugly sunglasses. I say Gina can have the purse (it's a backpack kind) even though my dad says I should keep it if I want to. It's night, and I'm in my room and really scared. I go to Gina's room and she let's me stay there (her bed is almost as big as the whole room). She gets up and brings us both back a Cherry Freeze Capri Sport.

I have a party and everyone sleeps over. Somehow we all fit in my bed. Rose is by the window, then Dana, Michelle, Maria, some girl, her boyfriend, and then me. I'm annoyed because I fall out of the bed very early in the morning and nobody notices. I sleep for awhile, standing up next to the door. I wake up when the guy needs to leave the room. I follow him and go out to the living room where my dad is. My dad says the guys pants are undone and I should tell him to close it. I look outside and I see the guy's pants are open (he went outside to pee). When I go out to tell him, he's already zipped them up. My brother and his friend are talking to some guy who lives behind us (there are no fences between any of the houses). When the neighbor sees me he comes over and asks if I want to go to his house. I say yes, for some reason wanting to make the guy at my party jealous even though he has a girlfriend and I don't even like him. The neighbor is just a few years older than me, and really cute with dark hair and eyes. At his house, he shows me some music video he directed (the singer is some blond kid). The neighbor has a pool and I sit on the top step of the ladder and massages my back. We kiss a little bit before I go back home, where Rose and Dana have just woken up. I talk to them about the guy and Dana agrees he is really gorgeous, especially his eyes. I'm fixing these dolls on top of my bookshelf because they have all been turned the same way. While I'm doing it I see two of them move out of the corner of my eyes, and I freak out and run into the living room to tell my parents. They go in and they bring all the dolls out in a box to take upstairs. One jumps out and my dad throws it at me and tells me to deal with it. The doll is this woman who'd been a successful teacher before she got turned into a doll. She is mad she's not allowed to teach just because she's little. She ends up teaching again, but gets killed at a graduation ceremony when one of her students accidentally steps on her. The girl who stepped on her gets charged with manslaughter. I'm at Save Mart but it's in Century Plaza, and all the food is outside. I want Dr. Pepper but they don't sell it. I'm walking around and worried that something bad is going to happen. I'm at the other end of the shopping center, where you go to pay. It's also a bank. I'm messing around with my cell phone and Gwen and Dana come in. They tease me that I'm trendy for having a cell phone. Pepé suddenly runs into the place. He seems fine with Dana but barks at Gwen. I take him outside, where I see my parents. They are walking this huge stroller that I guess the dogs were in, because there's no baby.
september 20
I'm driving in Pittsburg around my old neighborhood. There are two guys walking around in the middle of the street, and one unzips his pants to urinate on the ground. I look when I'm driving by because I'm surprised, but I look away when the guys see me. It's later, and I'm driving by my old elementary school. It's raining hard and I'm trying to call 911 on my cell phone because the men from earlier are following me. I get the 911 operator on the phone but before I can say anything the guys pull me out of the car. I'm screaming. It's later and I'm in a room with two other girls who have been kidnapped by these guys. We're reading this incomplete photocopies of articles they give us, about dolls and makeup and other missing girls. I'm a guy and I'm swimming in a public pool. Some other guy is there and the both of us are diving and swimming to get all of these coins falling into the pool. Some of the coins are coming in through the edge of the pool where the filter is. Somehow, one policeman from every state is putting a coin through because they are trying to catch a killer who is greedy. I'm counting all the coins I have in my palm. I have mostly nickels (the old kind with the buffalo), some dimes, and a few quarters.
