My family is living at the old house, and my bedroom is up in the attic. It's a fall evening, and I go into the backyard. I'm not wearing a shirt or a bra. We have a shrine of the Virgin Mary set up on the grass, with a scarecrow nearby, and a huge bin full of fall vegetables - potatoes, apples, sweet potatoes, carrots, and more. I use a metal scoop to put some of the food into a white plastic bowl I brought outside with me. I can see the scarecrow out of the corner of my eye, and it's starting to freak me out, so I hurry up with the food and run back into the house. I have to go through my brother's room and I cover myself with one arm as best as I can. I go on a ski trip with Maria and her husband. It's late in the evening, and we have to get to this resort by riding this BART type system, but it looks like a huge SUV that holds about 20 people, and goes on the regular streets. The owner of the resort rides with us, sitting in the very front next to me, with Maria and her husband behind us. The car goes very fast, even around curves, and I get nervous. When we arrive at the resort, the owner serves us these fizzy, fruity drinks with cherries on top. My mom and I are watching a movie about a man who is divorcing his wife, and preparing to marry another girl. His wife is played by Edie Falco, and she's wearing a fat suit. In one scene, they're at a meeting in town hall. Their young daughter (around 9 years old) is sitting with Edie Falco, who agrees to give the husband a divorce, but she is planning something bad to do to him and to his new girlfriend.

We're living at the old house, and my uncle and cousins are visiting. My mom says we should watch "Epitafios," but she's busy running around and doing stuff, and my uncle keeps asking her when we'll watch it. They leave to go buy pizza, and when they come back I say that they should have stopped somewhere and bought him reading glasses, since there are subtitles. It's night, and I'm rolling around in this desk chair. I go into the kitchen where this open elevator is. Still sitting on it, I push the chair into the elevator, and the operator (an older Irish man) pulls the lever that will make the elevator go down into the garage. It only goes down a couple feet and then stops. He says he'll go into the garage and move whatever's obstructing it, but I know that he's going to end up getting crushed. I get off of the chair and climb back onto the kitchen floor. Now there's an opening where the elevator is, and I want to keep my sister from getting into it, so I decide to tape it off. My godmother is there, and I tell her to watch the space while I go find some tape, but she keeps following me. In the laundry room, I use a stepladder to get up to the shelf where there are a few different kinds of masking tape. I choose one that's a deep but bright brown color. I have trouble using it because it keeps separating into thin strips, but finally manage to block the elevator off. I also put up a green warning sign. I'm with a little boy and an old man at this college campus. We run into some cheerleaders, and when they finish their routine, they start chasing the little boy because he's just so cute. The three of us run outside onto this golf course. The old man dives into this pond in the middle, the boy hides in some sand, and I just lay down behind some obstacle and pretend to be hanging out when the cheerleaders find me.

It's my senior trip, and besides all the students themselves, all the families are going. The students ride in a separate bus, and it's such a long trip that I fall asleep during it. When I wake up, I've gotten all disheveled and the waist of my underwear is showing above my black pants. I'm still sleepy and walking with Dana, who tells me to fix it. After stopping by the hotel, everyone goes to a big, fancy dinner. I'm sitting with my family when we realize that we've left the baby we're taking care of alone in the hotel room for too long (it's been about half an hour). We rush back to the room to find it missing, and start our own private search immediately. We know that the FBI is also looking for the baby, and that we'll get in trouble if they find it first. My dad and I go to this huge park, where there is an underground cave. A lot of homeless people live in it, and the leader - this man with long hair and lots of sores on his skin - tells us where to find the baby. It's back in the hotel, so we rush back. We find the unoccupied room it's in, just as we hear the FBI searching the room next door. To get away from them, we go to Disneyland. We all separate, but the FBI comes anyway, all of their agents having rifles and ordering everyone to get down on their knees with their hands up. I soon get excused because a woman from this restaurant calls me in - I had baked an asparagus quiche and forgotten to wash the dish out after using it.
