I'm a character on "Criminal Minds" and there's a murder suspect on BART being held by the other passengers, even though they're not positive it was him. He did this thing where he would stain people's clothes with poisoned food and they would die. There were some government agents telling us about him, but it turned out they were also murderers. They got a small group of us in my garage and started putting the poison food - mostly peanut butter and jelly - on our clothes. It made everyone woozy at first and then they realized none of us were going to die - except for me. I'd been given a lethal dose and crumpled to the floor as the rest of them were laughing hysterically in relief. It's summer and I'm planning to meet with Gwen at a public pool at 7:15 a.m. We had arranged it through some website, but I'm running late and send her a text message at 7:10 asking if we could meet around 8:45. I'm doing laundry (it looks like the old house) and I'm taking a load of colored shirts out of the washing machine. Two pretty black tops had gotten in with the load, and they look dingy and covered with lint, so I plan to wash them again later with the black shirts. I put on a purple bathing suit but feel self-conscious because I hadn't shaved my legs in a week or so. I drive to where the public pool is and have the worst time finding a parking space, even though it doesn't seem that busy. The only free ones seemed to be the handicapped spaces. I'm talking to someone later in the day about how I never connected with Gwen, and they say it's because her family spends that particular day of the week studying the Bible. I'm on "Criminal Minds" again, and we're going after the same murderer, but now he's posing as a photographer on a college campus to get access to the girls. A group of us are walking around the campus at night and two of us find him taking a picture of a (dead) girl named Ursula in the bottom of an empty grave (the college has a cemetery). He had put a short, sleeveless dress on her, with nothing underneath, and he'd shaved her. While one of the agents went to get him, I had one of the other women stay with Ursula's body. There were two other girls he'd killed, but hadn't had a chance to do anything else to yet. I'm on the phone with Amanda and trying to either invite her and Henrietta over to swim (I'm at the old house and the pool is up in the backyard) or to get myself invited to her house to swim, even though it's already sunset.

It's a Sunday and I go to a hotel for another mini-vacation. The hotel is a huge one-story house that has been converted, and all of the rooms have glass walls with shades that can be drawn to hide the inside from view. You can buy time in either three-hour blocks, or by the night. When I get there, my grandmother and her sister are just arriving for lunch. I get my bag and go inside. A big room in the very front is being occupied by a couple on their honeymoon. The husband is sitting on the floor watching TV, and waves to me as I walk by. The hotel managers (a married couple) are busy, and the wife tells me to look around and choose the room I want. The woman of the honeymooning couple comes along with me. I find a huge room in the back that I like. All of the furniture (two king-sized beds separated by a night table, a huge vanity, a big armoire) is dark wood, and the wall-coverings are dark but thin, and I wonder whether people outside will be able to see my shadow moving. The only thing I don't like about the room are these four tall Victorian dolls on stands on top of the vanity. As I go to find the manager, the honeymooning woman is whining about how she should've gotten that room instead. I tell her that I won't be there for more than two nights, so if she's still there on Tuesday, she can probably trade. I find the manager, who is still busy but agrees to remove the dolls as she's had complaints about them before. I'm watching a movie about this married couple who take their kids, two boys, on vacation and end up staying at a middle-of-nowhere motel run by an elderly couple. They knew about the motel because, the year before, the elderly couple had helped them after they had a car accident near there. After their arrival, weird things start happening. The old couple was controlling their thoughts and actions because, when they were there the year before, the old woman had become obsessed with them and put a spell on them so they'd return. One day, the parents went for a drive in their minivan alone. Their thoughts were their own for once, and they agreed that they weren't leaving their kids behind, but only trying to figure out what to do. The old woman started giving them psychic shocks so they drove back to the motel. The old people had two gangster sons who took the family and kept them in an abandoned building they owned. The hardwood floors were brand new and really nice, so the family could only move around by climbing from one piece of furniture to another. They let the family leave, although because of the spell they know they'll be returning the following year. After they get everyone and their stuff loaded up in the car, the couple has the two boys put on helmets. They're going to try to get into a car accident with another family in the same circumstances in hopes of breaking the spell. It doesn't work, but they do get into an accident with a car that the gangster sons sent after them, and this breaks the spell. I go on a road trip to Las Vegas with Dana and Maria, and the first place we go when we arrive is to a Jamba Juice. Besides smoothies, they have food items on the menu. We sit up at the front counter, and they both order smoothies and these individual gelatin salads with fruit mixed in. I get a "Peach Pleasure" smoothie and a chicken salad. Later that night, we go back with a couple of girls we know and sit at a big round table. On the table are some little tile-shaped candies the Jamba Juice sells, with pictures of fruit on them. I know that the candies cost one dollar each, and hope that we won't get charged for them because someone else left them behind. These guys who are regulars are talking to us, and some other girls who know them come up and try to bother us because they're jealous. The girl who is their "leader" starts making fun of the one girl in our group who isn't wearing any clothing with skulls on them as the rest of us are.
