I'm in health class when this parade starts in the parking lot of c-side. The marching band is playing and there are all of these people dressed up like tomatoes and pumpkins. I want to wait to see Michael but I have to go home right then with Rose.

Tallulah is going to school at Pitt and she's hanging out with Teresa. Someone has nicknamed my car "The Pimp" and Patricia is saying she should get to sit in the front seat because she's editor of the newspaper. I am in history class, and Michael is there. We're watching a movie and he rests his head on my arm. I'm hanging out with Rose and some other girl in my backyard. We're all wearing these jackets and listening to Marilyn Manson. I'm in the kitchen and starving so I eat some hard boiled eggs and some cookies.

Maria and I don't want to go to history class so we go to English with Mark. I'm at home trying to fix my computer because there's a virus, and this guy comes over to steal stuff. I have to give him my chain, some money, and a bag of Cheez-Its.

I'm in geometry and everyone is out of their seats except for Maria and myself. Maria is telling me how she and Zach had sex and he videotaped it.

There's some kind of carnival going on in a big building, and I am there with my mom and my brother. We get to the top floor and are talking a horse, who is really a person on the inside. My brother and I are in a store, hding from our parents. My mom couldn't find us - we kept diving behind displays - but my dad finally did. I'm checking my e-mail and someone who uses this huge purple-blue font has written to me. I'm listening to Hole and then Poe on my CD player. I'm in a building with Mark and Dana and we're trying to sleep but something keeps interrupting us. I'm watching a talk show where this little girl is going to donate her heart to an old uncle of hers. The little girls parents were brother and sister and people in the audience kept talking about incest.
january 16
Ruth, Dana, and Mark and I are hanging out at school, where some kind of fundraiser for psychics is going on. We're having a sleepover at my house and we're listening to music. After they're gone I realize Ruth has left lots of nail polishes under my bed. I go to school and I buy twenty dollars worth of candy. My whole family is over at my grandma's house at night, and while we're leaving this guy that looks like Freddy Krueger appears and so we all run to the car and get a policeman to help us.
january 18
It's lunchtime, and I'm hanging out on a ledge with Mark, Dana, Elaine, and someone else. Marilyn comes over and starts to yell at us. I say "Why don't you like us?" and she says "Look at you guys, you're a bunch of weirdos." We argue with her for awhile before she finally leaves to go into the hallway. I follow her, and when she turns around to try to punch me I block her. Before she finally leaves we shake hands.

Mark, Dana and I are on the field at Heights. There is a wrestling ring with all of these naked people walking around in it. The girls keep grabbing Mark. I'm at my house, trying to sleep, and Mark comes in and starts to merss with my stuff. He breaks this little bracelet I have with talking beads, and my family had to leave because it was bad luck for them to be there while I fixed it. I'm hanging out with Dana, Mark and John in the quad at lunch and all of these people are throwing pieces of french bread at each other. We go into some store, and I want to buy some gum and a candy cane. I change my mind because I want to buy some bubble bath stuff, but I can't find any. There is an arcade in the back of the store and Howard is there. Dana keeps yelling at everyone in the store, so I go back in to see why and Ms. Baker is there.
