I've been staying up too late recently... and tonight is no exception. I should probably also mention that I am for some reason having a soda at 11 p.m. Sleep, what's that? I was doing good at quitting caffeine for awhile, but I've fallen off the wagon. Hard. Last night I hung out with DM at Starbucks for two hours (we only left because they close at 9! WTF?) and had chai after chai after... okay, I only had the two, but that was at least one too many.

I also went by the mall for some Christmas shopping, and while I got one more person checked off my list, I was also quite naughty and did shopping for myself. Some shimmery hair and body spray from Bath and Body Works and a t-shirt at Torrid, which I've heard of for a long time but hadn't been before. Basically: Sexy clothes for chubby girls. I wasn't really in the mood for clothes shopping at the time, so I only tried the one thing I ended up getting: a kickass t-shirt that has a drawing of the Golden Girls and says "Stay Golden." So awesome.

Tomorrow is going to be the first Sunday that I haven't worked since my birthday back in October! I was originally going to commemorate this special occasion by not doing anything, but since we're having an open house and I can't just hang out I'm going to spend the day churchin' (free coffee! or in my case juice) and, again, shoppin'. Fashion Bug is apparently having some big sale and I need a Christmas shirt. And a New Year's Eve shirt, although I have no plans for that night... yet.

Of all the things I have neglected lately, this night I caught up on one of them: Reading some of my favorite blogs. And I totally missed that I got tagged by Rebecca as part of the growing "Outstanding Blog" list. Aw! I really appreciate that, especially after making the move to the new domain and possibly losing a lot of readers. I was even considering giving the whole thing up for awhile there! Crazy, huh?

In any case, to this list I've added some of the "newest" additions to my blogroll: the Bullshit Observer, No Accent Yet, and - though he certainly needs no help from me in garnering readers - the West Virginia Surf Report.
