I'm coming down with something. Cough, cough. It's actually not too bad, unless I'm trying to sleep (or more accurately - if I'm trying to breathe when I sleep). We're having a big day at work tomorrow that I kinda have to be there for, so, there you go. Eh, I wash my hands like a million times a day anyway; I'll just go ahead and make it two million. On the plus side, it will be a short day and I have a party to go to in the evening!

Yesterday was a very lazy day off. I did absolutely nothing constructive, and had dinner at In n Out with LS and JH. I almost had the Flying Dutchman, but decided to not be a total carnivore, hehe. After our present exchange (LS got me CD by The Start I don't have, whoo, and Jess got me this neato chemistry-lab looking set of fruity drink mixers and glasses) we went to the mall, where I somehow didn't buy anything. I've heard rumors about me windowshopping, but didn't know it was actually possible!

Amusing: We saw a couple girls we went to high school with, neither of whom look like they're doing that well (hey, I'm just sayin'). And in kinda similar news, a friend of mine from junior high/high school is having a party the day after Christmas that I'm planning on going to. All of this former classmate stuff is making me think of the reunion (only two years away!) and how I'm not ready for that yet. Note to self: Get skinny, rich, and invent Post-Its.

Today was quite similar; I had lunch (Golden Dragon Buffet... mmm sesame balls and cheese wontons) with LT and we also stopped by Target. I have nothing planned for the rest of the afternoon except to do some laundry and hopefully watch the stuff I got from Netflix almost two weeks ago: the first two discs of season one of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." I've seen the commercials forever and thought it looked hilarious, but never got around to watching it while it was on.

Dumb girly stuff:

- Yesterday I tried to use this instant French Manicure kit I got at Bath and Body Works awhile back, with disastrous results. The guides refused to stick to my nails correctly so the white tips were all weird, and the pink is so pale that I might as well have left my nails nakey. I ended up taking it all off and putting on a shimmery Goldie pink.

- I went to Longs a couple nights ago to buy a toothbrush, and accidentally bought a purse. That does happen to other people besides me, right? But I couldn't not buy it; it's pink with some blingy stuff, a giant fleur-de-lis buckle and a leopard print lining. Ack! It ended up being on sale, which I didn't realize until afterwards but was heartily grateful for.

- At the grocery store the other day, I tried (and maybe actually did) flirt with this kinda cute guy who works there. During this conversation, he mentions... his wife. Dammit! I'd set my sights on this other really hot guy who works there, but he's a serious jerk. Ugh.

Something else I didn't get at the grocery store: Enough food! Nothing sounded good and so I only bought a few of my Most Commonly Purchased items (cheddar bacon potato skins, a Stouffer's Cheddar Potato Bake, roasted garlic bread from the bakery), zucchini for an appetizer I'm taking to tomorrow night's party, and a few Odwalla Vitamin C monsters. Mmm, one thousand percent...
