To continue on my theme of "TV I've watched while trying to recover from the worst cold ever":

I'm pretty sure the first season of "Californication" is already over, but I've just started to watch it... and it just might be the most offensive and obscene show I've ever seen (Others: "Weeds", "Deadwood", probably "Rescue Me") and I think I love it! Any show where the pilot begins with David Duchovny dreaming about getting oral sex, from a nun, in a church, wants way too much attention; attention that I'm only too willing to give.

Plus, his young daughter cracks me up. "Dad, there's a naked lady in your bedroom... she has no hair on her vagina. Do you think she's okay?" That's probably the one bummer of this show so far* - lots of boobies and lady-bum, but no guy bum or bits. WTF?

*Besides it taking itself way too seriously; reminds me a lot of "Six** Feet Under" actually.

**Heh, I totally first typed that as, "Sex Feet Under." Come to think of it, that might have been a better title.

I'm also trying to get current on the second season of "Brotherhood," but Comcast keeps giving me an error at 22-minutes of episode 13. Grr. I should probably call them about that sometime. But yes, I'm definitely glad that Michael (Jason Isaacs) isn't dead! Only, you know, messed up in the brain somehow (if he pulls a Nate Fisher I'm going to be pissed!)

I have a headache, need to sleep now, continue to recuperate, etc.
