I have ten minutes to blog before I have to get ready for work! Can I do it? Let's see...

Sunday was cool. It was weird to have the day off but... you know, nice to have the day off. Go figure. On the way back from church I stopped by one of our "competition's" (but not really) restaurant but couldn't stay to eat due to a long, boring explanation. I grabbed an iced chai and a snickerdoodle (it was soft and yummy) from the Starbucks right near there and headed back to Pittsburg to go to Fashion Bug.

Clearance prices are my friend! I ended up getting four tops for about $40, which is really good. Two of them are "nice" ones and the others are: a gray t-shirt that says "Good girls love bad boys" (corny, but funny... possibly true?) and a black one with colorful writing and sparklies that says "Peace Love and Rock." I can dig it.

Work yesterday was very low-key compared to most Mondays. We had a party of either nine or ten that we already knew about, and only three other small tables. Today we're having a party of fifteen and no idea what they're going to have, so it's going to take... not forever, but longer than it would, but then I don't care much, either. They'll get fed when they get fed, darnit. Other than them, I'm envisioning a slow day. I am tired enough to fall back asleep right now, so not being busy isn't going to bother me in the least.

What else? I'm finally caught up on "Dexter"... just in time for the season finale this coming Sunday, argh! I'm nervous like you wouldn't believe. Also still amazed at how conflicted this show still makes me feel... but of course now that I'd like to go into that, I have to go make myself presentable for the (kinda) public eye. Sigh.
