My stomach feels pretty lousy right about now. I had a bagel and a muffin (yay carbs!) for breakfast, and a huge chai, and tried to make up for it by having this Lean Cuisine sesame chicken thing for lunch. I don't think it quite worked.

Still, I think I'm doing better than yesterday. I don't remember what I ate in the morning, but I had Jack in the Box for lunch (so good, yet so bad) and a fluffernutter for dinner. I tried to explain this sandwich to SC today, and she thought I was insane! I mean, I am, but it was a seriously yummy sandwich... in a disgusting kind of way.

And yes, you've caught me blogging from the office, but I am working, thank you very much. My sole assignment today is to make one copy each of 52 CD's. Ugh. Anyway, I'm actually multi-tasking by using two different computers at once. Not mine - that would be too easy. The CD recorder on my machine is permanently stuck shut for whatever reason, so I'm running back and forth between the computer next to mine, and one in the other office. Maybe this will make up for yesterday's junk food orgy.

I know what present I'm giving my mom for Mother's Day, but I'm kind of torn on what to do about a card. Should I go meaningful, or hilarious? I usually go for funny because I'm not a fan of sappiness, but having this long convo with SC today reminded me of how much of her life my mom has dedicated to me and the sibs (cue sitcom soundtrack "Aw!" here).

I still have no idea what to get my dad for his birthday in a couple of weeks. I can think of a lot of things he would like, but I want it to be something extra-awesome since it's kind of a milestone birthday.

The movie club that I was part of had disbanded and is now back together again, yay! Some of us are going to go see "Speed Racer" on Friday. I don't want to see that movie as much as some others that I'm interested in, but I think it will be fun anyway. I'm also pleased to report that "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" was really great. Then again, basically any movie with male frontal nudity in the first five minutes (several times) is probably okay with me.
